I’d
like to start by sharing a little bit about my approach to health
coaching. Our relationship is founded on
a shared agreement that YOU are the expert in your own life, YOU get to define
your idea of optimal wellness, and ONLY YOU can know what will or won’t work
for you. Bettering your health is a
journey, and we approach it with the knowledge that you are fully capable of
achieving all that you set your mind to – you are innately whole and capable
of healing.
Together
we can explore your health goals, digging into your intrinsic motivation of WHY
you want to make changes, and come up with practical strategies to help you
form the habits that will lead to long-term sustainable change. By becoming conscious of your day-to-day
choices, utilizing your innate character strengths, and celebrating your
successes, this will be a positive process that will bring self-discovery, and
help you to feel inspired to go after what you truly want in life. The desire is for this to be a joyful
transformation.

I once heard the coaching relationship described as two people walking
through a dark forest at night: the client is holding the map, and the coach is
shining the flashlight. I will
illuminate the path, help to bring clarity to your goals so you can decide
which route to take, support you as you navigate the rough patches and at times
ask the hard questions to help you be real with yourself when you hit a
roadblock. Between the two of us, we
will navigate a way through the trees and out into the clearing.
